Smile and the world smiles back at you.

Arriving in Cambodia gave us a warm welcome. The Cambodian people are so friendly and helpful. You only need to look at them and they will smile back. It was nice to see the beauty of this country but it was also important for us to get to know the dark period in the Cambodian history: the Cambodian genocide which took place the 70’s. This was really heart-wrenching when visiting the school and the killing fields where innocent Cambodian people got imprisoned, tortured and killed by their own people. I hope this will never happen again…
